The Amalgamated Platinum Rewards MasterCard Credit Card might be a good option for those of you who want to earn rewards points while having the lowest interest rates. This card has a 0% intro APR for purchases during the first 12 months and a $0 annual fee.

Before filling in an application make sure you meet the following criteria of eligibility:

Be a U.S. citizen or a legal resident of the United States
Be at least 18 years of age at the time of account opening, or a minor in a joint account with a parent/guardian.
Be open to provide information regarding your employment status and/or other sources of income.

You can apply for the Amalgamated Platinum Rewards MasterCard Credit Card by completing the following steps:

Step 1: Visit the card’s homepage and click ‘Choose a Card’ under the Apply for a Credit Card section.

Step 2: Two card options will show up immediately. You need to click on the ‘Apply now’ button under the Platinum credit card.

Step 3: In the next window you can start to complete your application by clicking on the ‘Your Contact Information’ button.

Step 4: Complete your contact information by entering in the boxes provided the following info: your first and last name (middle initial and suffix are optional), present street address, city, state, Zip code, primary phone number and your email address. Press ‘Confirm your Identity’ to proceed.

Step 5: Insert your date of birth and SSN in the provided boxes and click on the ‘Employment and Income’ button.

Step 6: Enter your financial information including your: total annual income and the amount of combined monthly payments related to your expenses. Click on the ‘Authorized User Information’ to proceed.

Step 7: Select whether you would like to add an authorized user by checking the ‘yes’ or ‘no’ options and press ‘Disclosures and Send’ to continue your application.

Step 8: In the next page you’ll be prompted to review the information you provided once again by pressing the ‘View the entire form for review and printing’ button. You’ll need also to insert your initials and check the box indicating your agreement to receive the Privacy Principles electronically. Finally, click on the ‘Send’ button as shown below to forward your application to the bank.

Step 9: In the next window you’ll receive a confirmation indicating that your form was received and that you’ll be contacted soon for the results of your application.
