The Business Platinum® Card from American Express is a great choice if you are searching for a business card full of rewards and benefits. The card offers incredible discounts for airlines, travel reservations, entertainment and more to its cardholders. The card has a $595 annual fee but does not include any foreign transactional fees.

Rewards

1X Points for each dollar you spend on eligible purchases.
1.5X Points per each dollar on qualifying purchases of $5,000 or more with the Business Platinum Card and up to 1 million additional points per year.
2X Points for each dollar of eligible purchases made when you book on the American Express Travel website.

“ The Platinum card by American Express is a very expensive option for me. The rewards are also less than promised when I applied for getting this card. The only good thing is the facility of controlling everything through the online account.”

“ The American Express Platinum Business credit card is not bad for those who already have an established business, but is not a good option for those who’re starting out and there are a few good reasons why. For one, they have an annual fee of four-hundred and fifty dollars a month which doesn’t include other fees that may be associated with it. This isn’t a bad option if you’ve got a well-established business, but many businesses that are starting out can’t afford these annual fees. However, with you do earn one point on certain purchases that qualify, one and a half points on certain purchases over a thousand dollars, but you can’t earn more than a million per year. If you’re prone to a lot of traveling, then depending on the website you can earn up to two times the points. Once you’ve signed up you’re rewarded with a two-hundred-dollar travel fee credit as well as fifty-thousand reward points once you spend a five-thousand-dollars, and plus another fifty-thousand after you spend ten-thousand within the first three months of having this card. This is great as mentioned for anyone who has an established business because in most cases you’re already dropping serious money on purchases whereas a new business isn’t as likely to be able to afford the purchases to earn the rewards. Overall, not a bad card at all.”
