Amex offers its members reward points, and they can earn 50,000 points if they spend $5,000 and an extra 50,000 points if more than $10,000 are spent on qualifying purchases during the first 3 months after getting the card.
Q: Is it good choice for a person who is starting the business?
The American Express Platinum Business credit card is especially designed for people who already own a business, a well established one, because the annual fees are so high. On the other hand, this might not be a good option for people who are starting their business because the fee is four-hundred and fifty dollars a month, which is too much to pay and cannot be afforded.
Q: What is a Merchant Account?
A Merchant account is a type of bank account which permits businesses to accept payment by debit or credit cards. It is a sort of agreement between and acceptor and a merchant bank. Once something is paid by a credit card, all the funds are first put into the merchant account and then transferred to the business bank account.
