Christian Debt Consolidation Scams

Debt Consolidation scams are everywhere and no doubt you’ve heard countless horror stories from the media and possibly from people that you know that have fallen victim to these unscrupulous companies. It’s hard to know who to trust anymore. It seems like a Christian Debt Consolidation company would be the way to go, right?
Think again.
Take a look at the Christian Debt Consolidation companies website and then give one of them a call for a free quote. You may notice that aside from a few religious tracts and some graphics of crosses scattered about that the websites aren’t that much different from the other Debt Consolidation sites. You will probably also notice that the counselors that you speak to for your free quote use the same misleading hard sell tactics as the other Debt Consolidation companies.
The truth of the matter is that the word Christian is used, in many cases, as a ploy to gain your trust and then your money. A good Debt Consolidation company would not rely upon religious doctrine to sell themselves; in fact, trusting Biblical proverbs to get you out of debt instead of the experience and knowledge of debt management professionals or YOURSELF (as this website suggests) is not a good idea. This is an unethical debt consolidation scam that preys on your faith, goodwill and many times your desperation to find help.
Before you fall victim to a scam please read my information regarding how Debt Consolidation really works here at this link The Truth About Debt Consolidation Programs and please also check out my page with tips and instructions for dealing with your creditors yourself at Negotiating Debt With Your Creditors, Debt Negotiation.
I wish I would have seen the reviews before I signed up with Christian debt Counselors, they are very deceitful.
I asked up front about all fees and was assured I had been told everything.
They lied, I did not find out until after they had gathered all my information that a 3rd party would be handling my account and I had to pay a large fee to the company as well.
They also charge you for debiting your account every month, fees they intentionally held back.
They know they have you over a barrel, especially since you have given these people all your crucial information.
They are preying on people who need help and I think they used the name to make you feel at ease; they are nothing but devils in disguise, I encourage everyone to write their states attorney, television news stations and share your stories.
The only way to stop this, is to get the word out and get help..
I do not understand how they have a good rating at BBB.
