Greetings to all members of this community! I have a question for you: do you know by any chance what Chase Amazon Credit Card’s BIN number? Thanks for you help!
Hi Isaac, what exactly is a BIN number? It’s the first time I hear about this although I’ve been having various credit cards for the past few years…
Hey Chris, BIN stands for Bank Identification Number, sometimes it’s also called IIN (Issuer Identification Number) in case your card is not issued by a bank but by some other institution
Now, I don’t know exactly what’s Chase Amazon’s BIN, but you can find it on your card actually. It’s the first four to six digits you find on the card.
Hope this helps, cheers!
Thanks guys for the info, I didn’t know I can find it so easily, on my own card. But the question now is whether it’s the first 4 OR the first 6 digits, I need to fill in a form and I suppose they need something precise…
I mean, are both of them good? Or it depends from bank to bank? Or how is it?
Thanks again people
Hi Isaac, I put all the 6 digits, better to be safe than sorry! I think that’s the right procedure, I needed to fill in some forms and put the entire number and I didn’t receive any complaints from the officials I submitted the forms too, so I think that’s the right way to put it.
