To apply for a Pottery Barn Credit card, you have to meet the following requirements

Be at least 18 years of age upon application
Have a valid government-issued photo ID
In possession of a U.S. Social Security Number
Be a U.S. resident living in the United States
Have a street, rural route or APO/FPO mailing address

Step 1: Access the Pottery Barn Credit Card homepage by clicking on the link. On this page, you should be seeing a picture of a Pottery Barn Credit Card, and at the bottom of the picture, there is a button that reads Apply Now.

Click on that and proceed to the next page.

Step 2: On the right side of the screen, look for the apply now button, click on that as well.

Step 3: On this page, you have need to provide the following information

First name
Middle initial (this is optional)
Last Name
Suffix, if any
Social security number
Date of birth
Annual income

Step 4: Proceed to the next portion and input your contact information details which are the following

Check either your street address or rural address
If you chose your street address, provide your street address and apartment number, if any. If you chose rural address, provide your rural route as well as your box number
City
State
Zip Code
Email address
Mobile phone and alternate phone

Step 5: In this section you have the option to add an authorized buyer. Note that authorized buyers are allowed to make purchases on your behalf.

Upon signing up, you can add one authorized buyer, but once your account is created, you can nominate up to a total of four authorized buyers in your account.

Check yes if you want to add an authorized buyer, or no if otherwise.

If you choose to add an authorized buyer, you have to provide his First name, Middle Name (optional), Last name and relationship from the drop down menu. Click on continue and follow the prompts

Step 6: There are three steps to applying to the Pottery Barn credit card. You’ve just completed the first step, and you should carry on to the next two steps until you are done.
