Requirements
In order to be eligible to apply for this card, you will need to meet the following requirements:
- You should be a U.S. military or an honorably discharged ex-military; OR
- You should be joining the U.S. military and already have an enlistment contract or be participating in a commissioning program; OR
- Your parent has or had a USAA account; OR
- Your spouse has or had a USAA account; OR
- Your spouse has honorably served in the U.S. military
- Additionally, you should have a valid postal address, phone number, email address and social security number or tax ID number
How to Apply
In you are a military, an honorably discharged ex-military or a child or spouse of a current or ex-military and you would like to get a USAA Rewards Visa Signature Card, here is how you should proceed:
Step 1: Open the card’s main web page and click on the ‘Get Started’ button.
Step 2: Select whether you are or not already a USAA member and click on the ‘Continue’ button.
Step 3: In case you are not already a USAA member, provide details regarding your military affiliation (whether you are a current or ex-military, whether your parents or spouse were members of USAA and whether your spouse is a current or ex-military) and press ‘Continue.’
This will lead you to the registration page where you must follow the steps we already described in our page dedicated to the activation/registration process and provide various details about yourself (e.g. full name, address, email and mailing address).
