The Westpac Low Rate Credit Card offers you not only various signup bonuses, including 0% interest rates and no annual fee in the first year for Westpac customers but also an easy-to-use online platform where you can manage your account. Here, we will provide information on how to login, retrieve your credentials and open an account.

If you already have access to Westpac’s online banking, here is what you need to do in order to log in:

Step 1: Open the credit card’s home page and click on the ‘Sign In’ button.

Step 2: Enter in the required fields your Customer ID and Password and press ‘Sign In.’

In case you forgot your customer ID and/or password, these are the steps you need to follow in order to retrieve/reset them:

Step 1: Go to the credit card’s log in page and click on the ‘Forgot customer ID or password’ button in order to access the credential retrieval webpage.

Step 2: Choose which of your credentials (customer ID or password) you have forgotten.

Step 3: On the same page, introduce your Westpac card number, first name, last name and date of birth and press ‘Next’ to continue.

If you did not yet register in the online banking system associated with your card, these are the steps you should follow to set up an online account:

Step 1: On the credit card’s home page click on the ‘Register’ button.

Step 2: In the small pop-up window which will open select the ‘Westpac Live- Personal’ option.

Step 3: Click on ‘Get Started’ to open the registration page.

Step 4: Enter your personal details, including: Westpac credit card number, first name, last name and date of birth. Then click ‘Next.’

Step 5: In the following pages you should answer some security questions, create a password and introduce your contact details.

Q: What does balance transfer promotion include?

The Balance transfer promotion is available only when you apply for a new Low Rate credit card between 1st February 2018 and 11th June 2018. A balance transfer fee of 2% of the transferred balance will be charged to the account on the same day and it is applicable only for the balances transferred during the promotional period. You will pay no interest for 24 months on balance transfers requested at card application.

Q: What does the Smart Plan stand for?

SmartPlan is the offer available to the Westpac Low Rate Credit Cardowners. It is an online banking tool that helps you take control of your credit card debt, stay on top of large purchases and balances by breaking them down into regular installments. This means that they can use it to plan and manage repayments for any balance of more than $200 or large purchase of more than $500 on your credit card. Large purchase SmartPlans are currently available at a lower interest rate. SmartPlan allows you to set a repayment schedule to make the most of 0% balance transfer offers, track your progress at any time in Online Banking or the Westpac Mobile Banking application and break the cost of large purchases into manageable installments and pay them as part of your regular monthly statement repayment.
