With the Affinity Credit Union Gold MasterCard it is very easy to access and manage your online account directly from the CUETS website. In this guide we provide useful information on how to log in online, retrieve your credentials, or activate your card.
How to Login / Make a Payment
If you already own this card it is very easy login to your online account. Here are the steps you need to follow:
Step 1: Navigate to the card’s homepage (CUETS) and press ‘Login.’
Step 2: In the new window which will open provide your username and press the ‘Sign in’ button.
Step 3: In a new window, you need to enter also your password and then click on ‘Submit.’
Forgot Password / Username
If it happened that you cannot remember your password, the CUETS website has a secure and clear method on how to reset it which can be done in these steps:
Step 1: After opening the login window, you need to click on the ‘Forgot Password’ link.
Step 2: Answer to the challenge questions established at the time of your online Enrollment which may include: your mother’s maiden name and your date of birth. Soon you will be directed to another page where you can change/reset your password.
Step 3: If even after going through the above steps you are not able to reset your password, the CUETS has made available this phone number 1-800-561-7849 to call specifically for this issue.
Activation / Registration
In order to be able to access your account and make your payments online, you need to activate your card online or enroll in online banking. You can activate your card by following these steps:
Step 1: Open the login page and click on ‘New User/Enroll Now.’
Step 2: Introduce in the appropriate box your card number (16 digits) and push the ‘Submit’ button.
Step 3: Complete your application by providing and choosing the required information including your Security Information, Username and Password.
Q: Is there an option of transferring money to another Affinity Credit Union member?
There are a few different options of transferring money. You can either do it with an INTERAC e-Transfer. This is an easy method of sending money to anyone who has an email address or mobile phone number. In order to send an e-Transfer, you just need to click the Transfers tab and then select INTERAC e-Transfer on the website. Another way of sending money is via his/her account number. You can just make a call to Contact Centre and request the transfer.
Q: When are Affinity branches closed?
Both Affinity's headquarters and branches are closed on Sundays and holidays, such as New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.
Q: How many days are necessary for setting up a merchant account?
The opening of a merchant account depends on many factors, such as the accuracy of the information provided, completeness of the application, and some paperwork needed. In the best conditions, the account can be opened within one business day. However, if there are some issues regarding the account, more time is necessary to gather and process the information.
Q: What do I need to do to become the member of Affinity Credit Union?
You should visit any branch at any time during business hours and the employees will give you all the necessary information and sign you up. There is a possibility to make an appointment by calling the Contact Center.
