American Express® Gold Card is another fantastic card issued by American Express offering a generous point rewards system, a great signup bonus and a convenient online platform where you can manage your account. If you already set up an online account, it is simple to access it. Here is what you need to do:

Q: What does 4-digit number on my credit card stand for?

The 4-digit number is the CVV Number - Card Verification Value on your American Express credit or debit card. It is used to prove that you actually have the credit or debit card and to keep your money safe when using it online. You can find it printed on the front of the card, above the credit card number.

Q: Is it better to use my credit or debit card when making online payment?

It is advisable to use a credit card, due to the fact that debit cards don't have such a great fraud prevention and protection as credit cards.
