The Citi Secured Mastercard is a simple card to be used by people who aren’t necessarily after lots of rewards. The login and payment process is easily accessed online. If you would like to register for an account or you have lost your password or username, follow the steps below, using the screenshots as guidelines.

Go to the following website and then follow the steps below:

Step 1:

Click on the words ‘Sign in’ at the top right-hand side of the page.

Step 2:

You will then be taken to the page below. Enter in your details in the blocks required for your user ID and password and then click the blue button that reads ‘Sign On’.

Step 3:

Once logged in, you will be able to pay your outstanding balance on your account.

If you have forgotten your Citi Secured Mastercard account details, just follow the easy steps below to recover your username and/or password.

Q: What is the security deposit used for?

Once you apply for the secured credit card, it is necessary to provide a security deposit between $200 -$2,500. The approved security deposit equals your credit limit, but does not earn any interest. Your security deposit will be tied up in a Collateral Holding Account for 18 months, after which the same amount of money will be returned to you. However, if you have not made at least the minimum payments every month since the opening of your account, the money might be charged from the deposit.
