The Citi ThankYou Preferred Card gives you great rewards for your purchases since you can earn up to 2 ThankYou points for each dollar spent almost everywhere, from restaurants to cinema and shows. Furthermore, you can easily access and manage your online account. Here we will show you how to log in, retrieve your username or password and activate your card.

If you got a Citi ThankYou Preferred Card and already created an online account, in a few simple steps you can access your online account.

Step 1: Go to the card’s homepage and click on the ‘Sign on’ button on the top right corner.

In the newly opened window, you must provide your account information for online access.

Step 2: Provide your User ID and Password in the relevant fields and click ‘Sign on.’

If you cannot remember your user ID or your password (or both), below you can find useful information on how to easily retrieve your credentials in two easy steps:

Step 1: From the authentication ‘Sign on’ window, you can click on the ‘Forgot your User ID/Password?’ link.

The Citi Bank’s credential retrieval page will open right away.

Step 2: In the new window notice the two columns indicating two different options.

The one on the left is dedicated to banking and credit card customers.

You can reset your password by providing your ATM/debit card number in the appropriate space and click the ‘Continue’ button.

Afterwards, you can choose a new User ID/Password for accessing your online account.

Step 1 (Activate): Open the credit card’s authentication page and press the ‘Activate a Card/Register now’ link.

Step 2 (Activate): Provide you card number in the appropriate field and click on the ‘Continue’ button.

Step 3 (Register): In the same Sign-on page) click on the ‘Register now’ link.

In the newly opened registration page, you can provide your credit card number and click on the ‘Verify & Continue’ button.

Step 4: Now, you can create your user ID and password, provide your security information in the required spaces and manage your online banking account.
