Guys, i’m becoming more and more paranoid every day, the more I read about credit card scams and fraud on the internet. It never happened to me until now, but I’m scared it will!
Is it true there are so many credit card scammers around? Are some credit cards or banks safer in this regard than others? How is it possible to avoid these scams? And should they happen, what to do to recover your money etc.?
Many questions, I know, but I’m really starting to have sleepless nights thinking about this. I truly hope there are not so many problems around as internet makes us believe.
Any opinions on this?
Well, you shouldn’t trust everything you find on the internet, this place is a big source of exaggerations! If you start believing everything you read here you can turn hardcore neurotic…
Of course credit card scams exist, but they are not so happening so often. Plus, most of the banks offer you quite a decent protection against this. So please don’t worry so much, the situation is less dark than the World Wide Web shows it to be!
I don’t know what to say about all the info you find on the net, I’m sure lots of it is bullshit, but from my own experience, it can definitely happen!
It happened to me once, all the money from my account disappeared over night but I was lucky enough to receive prompt assistance from the bank so I managed to get back most of them.
Well, to me it happened that my credit cards were stolen 3 times….But I guess you don’t mean this through scamming right?
I guess card stealing can be considered a type of credit fraud, but there are so many different other ways people can and WILL try to steal your money! It’s terrible…It seems to me there’s no more decency left in the world!
There is indeed a lot of credit fraud around, but there are also many ways of protecting your finances. Best thing to do is to always monitor your credit and should you see anything problematic there, first thing contact your bank, they’ll definitely help
