Members of the American College of Emergency Physicians have now the possibility to enjoy the ACEP BankAmericard Cash Rewards Visa Credit Card issued by the Bank of America. If you are considering to apply for this card, read our guide for more information on the online application procedure.

- Be 18 years old or older
- Be a member of the American College of Emergency Physicians
- Have a valid Social Security Number or a Tax Identification Number
- Be open to provide information relative to your annual income and employment status
How to Apply
In order to apply for the ACEP BankAmericard Cash Rewards Visa Credit Card you should complete a few simple steps:
Step 1: Navigate to the card’s promotional page, which you can reach from the American College of Emergency Physicians website. Here you need to press the ‘Click Here’ link as shown in the picture below.
Step 2: In the new application window which will open, enter in the appropriate fields your personal information including: first name, middle name (optional), last name, suffix (optional), residential address (you can also choose whether you would like your bank statements to be sent to this or other address), primary phone number, alternate phone number (optional), email address, country of citizenship, country of residence, date of birth and mother’s maiden name (optional).
Step 3: Provide in the appropriate fields information related to your employment status, total annual income and source of income. You can also choose whether you would like to make a balance transfer to your new card by selecting the given box and introducing the necessary information.
Step 4: Read carefully the Terms and Conditions related to this new card and, should you agree with them press the ‘Continue’ button. In the next window you’ll be able to submit your application to the Bank of America specialists and get an evaluation regarding your application.
Q: What are eBills?
Just as there are online statements, there are electronic versions of your paper bills. You can get them via Online Banking if your credit card issuer allows it.
Q: Can I cancel my eBill?
Of course, there is an option on Online Banking that gives you the possibility of cancelling your eBills. Once you enter the website, you need to follow the instructions to cancel eBill service. Another way of canceling is by calling the customer service.
Q: What's a periodic rate?
A periodic rate is the APR for a shorter period of time. It can be calculated by dividing the APR by the number of billing periods in the year. The periodic rate can be imposed by a creditor on a balance for a day, week, month, etc.
Q: What can be the problems with using my credit card abroad?
Firstly, you need to get acquainted with the fact whether your card is accepted in the country you are traveling to and that can be done by going to your issuer’s office or call the contact center. They will give you all the necessary information. Also, it is recommended to memorize your credit card PIN as you may be asked to enter your PIN when purchasing or trying to get the money from an ATM.
