The Affinity Credit Union Low Fee MasterCard is a low cost credit card ($12 annual fee) with great features such as MasterPurchase, MasterTrip, Extended Warranty, Credit Card Registry. Additionally you can have the Choice Rewards option ($24) and get 1 point for each $1 spent on eligible purchases.


At the time of your online application you need to meet the following criteria of eligibility:

  • Be 18 years of age or older
  • Be a permanent resident of Canada
  • Be a credit union member or visit a local credit union branch to become one
  • Be open to provide information regarding your personal data, financial situation and employment status.

There is an option of adding the additional user for your account. It will be a person who could use the account as you are using it but he/she is not responsible for the debt and does not have to pay it off in case it happens.
