How to Apply
You can apply for the Alliant Platinum Rewards Visa Credit Card entirely online on the Alliant website. Here are the steps you need to complete:
Step 1: Navigate to the card’s homepage and click one of the ‘Apply Online’ buttons.
Step 2: In the loan application window which will open press the ‘Apply Now’ making sure you leave the credit card option selected.
Step 3: Insert the Credit Card Application Details including: the preferred limit in $, the card type (among Visa Platinum and Platinum Rewards), the card design, the promotion code (optional) and click ‘Continue’.
Step 4: Enter your: SSN or ITIN, First Name, Middle Name (optional), Last Name, Suffix (optional), Date of Birth (e.g. Month/dd/yyyy). Select your marital status by choosing yes or no.
Step 5: Insert your: Address, Address 2 (optional), City, State, ZIP Code, Housing Status, Monthly Rent or Mortgage Payment, Home Phone Number, Mobile Phone Number, Work Phone Number (optional), Email Address, Mother’s Maiden Name (Used for security authorization).
Step 6: Introduce your ID Information including: ID Type, Issuing State, Number, Issuing Date (e.g. Month/dd/yyyy) and Expiration Date (e.g. Month/dd/yyyy).
Step 7: Provide in the appropriate boxes your Employment Information such as: Employment Status, Employer Name, Occupation, Monthly Income, Employment Start Date (e.g. Month/yyyy), Employer Country, Employer City, Employer State. Press ‘Continue.’ In the next pages you might need to complete the sections related to the Co-borrower Information and Spouse Information and finally run the Application Review before submitting your application to the bank for evaluation.
Q: I am a joint owner on a Kids Savings account. Can I view it in Online Banking?
Yes, there is a possibility to view your child's savings account, but you need to get the access from the primary account owner. Once the child is logged into his/her account you just need to click on “Settings”, then “Joint Owner Management” and “Manage Online Access”. You will be asked to choose which account to give access to. After everything is finished, you will have a chance to view your child's savings account when you log in to your own Alliant Online Banking.
