How to Login / Make a Payment
In case you already have an online account associated to your credit card, it is very simple to access it. Here is what you should do:
Step 1: Open the credit card’s homepage and click on the ‘Log In’ button.
Step 2: In the new window choose the service you need to access among 1) Cards – My Account, 2) Membership Rewards, 3) Merchant Account and 4) American Express @Work. Enter your user ID and password in the appropriate fields and then click ‘Log In’.
Forgot Password / Username
Should you forget your user ID and/or password, there is a very easy procedure to retrieve/reset them. Below are the steps for doing this:
Step 1: Open the credit card’s login page and click on the ‘Forgot User ID or Password’ link.
Step 2: In the new opened page, enter your card information including your 15-digit card number and the 4-digit card ID number. Click on the ‘Continue’ button to retrieve your User ID and Password.
Step 3: Fill in all the indicated fields connected to your User ID retrieval, verification of your ID and update your password. At each step, complete the operation by clicking on ‘Continue.’
Activation / Registration
If you did not yet set up an online account associated to this credit card, here are the steps you should follow to open one and register on the American Express online platform:
Step 1: In the login page, click on the ‘Create New Online Account’ right under the ‘Forgot User ID or Password’ link.
Step 2: Enter your card information including your 15-digit card number as well as the 4-digit card ID number. Click on the ‘Continue’ button.
Step 3: You can set up your account preferences as well as customize your card benefits by reading and checking the relevant information and filling in all the required fields. To complete your account activation/card registration click on ‘Continue.’

Yes. You can always ask for a copy of your previous Card statements, but you will need to pay a charge. If you want to see the statement for free, you can do that by accessing your American Express account online, log in and click on Download PDF statements.
