The AARP Credit Card has many benefits, including generous discounts for eating in restaurants, for buying petrol/gas as well as for other products. There are no specific requirements or eligibility criteria which you must meet in order to be able to apply for this card. However, in the application process you will be asked to provide your postal address (so you must have one) as well as your AARP membership number.

How to Apply

You can either apply by phone by calling Chase at 1-800-667-1645 or online. If you decide to apply online, here are the steps you need to follow:

Step 1: Open the credit card’s main webpage and click on the ‘Apply Now’ button.


Step 2: Introduce your personal information, including first and last name, mailing address and AARP membership number and then click on the ‘Next’ button at the bottom of the page.


Step 3: After introducing your personal details other pages will open where you will be asked information about your financial situation, about contact and security, as well as about  additional features you plan to add such as other persons who can use your account. Finally, you will have to review and submit your application.
